Frame and panel lid, with a bookmatched Tiger Maple panel. The Tiger Maple feet are pegged into the bottom of the box adding to its solid construction.The removable dividers in the box are also made of solid Cherry. This box is finished with a Dark Wine Cherry aniline-dye stain, boiled Linseed oil, (to accentuate the striping in the Tiger Maple) a sealing coat of Shellac, then finally a tough, hand rubbed, clear Laquer finish. Dimensions are aprox. : 14 & 1/4 inches in length, 8 & 1/2 inches in depth, 6 & 1/4 inches in height. This jewelry box was hand crafted by my brother. He has been wood-working for over 16 years, focusing on finely finished *one of a kind* pieces for the last 6 years.
