The borders of this piece are superbly handcrafted in solid 14k gold with exquisite decorative carvings. Set o the center of this piece is a shell with a cameo carving depicting a very well detailed young lady adorned with flowers. The young lady is wearing a necklace that is set with two sparkling round cut diamonds & a genuine teardrop shaped sapphire. The back of the brooch features a hinged pin as well as a collapsible bale so it could be alternatively worn as a pendant.
