At any rate, this piece of jewelry is a lion brooch which may also be worn on a chain. It measures 4 1/2". It is adorned with light and dark amber colored rhinestones and emerald green stones for the eyes and the nose and all are pronged set. The mane is made up of a flexible woven chain like material and has not tarnished at all. The closure works tightly and nicely.
