According to Roy Fisher of David Webb deigns , "only three Aquarius pendants with this number of diamonds were made in the spring of 1968(the age of Aquarius for sure!) The weight of the stones is approximately 3.40 cts.The necklace weighs 144.0 grams, it has a 24 inch long x8.8-16.4 mm(graduated) wide,heavy 18 karat gold chain and a 16/8 inch diameter pendant set with 80 diamonds. The chain has heavy flat links of high polished 18kt gold with a fluted texture alternating with high polished links of bar style. The pendant has a background of hand tooled gooves radiating out of the center and onto the sides.The round pendant has forty nine bead set diamonds around the edge with an additional of thirty one diamonds set into the "waves" comprising the Aquarian zidaic symbol.The diamond were measured and graded as follows: The waves: 12 single cut round diamonds and 19 round brilliant cut diamonds, measured in the setting at 1.5-2.6 mm each, weight calculated at 0.01 karat-0.065 karat eachthe boarder: 49 round brialliant cut diamonds measured in the setting at 2.6mm each, weight calculated at 0.065 karat each, approximeately 3 karat total weight.All of the diamonds were graded in the setting at vs2 l1 clarity(very few l1) E-F color, using the GIA scale.The pendant is cleary market with the David Webb "c WEBB R "PLAT WEBB 18K"The necklace is of excellent quality ans is perfect condition. additional photos on request plus full apprasial write upestimated at $30,000.00Shipping costs to be determined during purchace as insurance and special delivery will be required.
