Description
This is one our best pieces. Super fine bright gem blue sapphire. One of finest Cornflower Bright Blue we have ever seen – 10 out of 10. Best in the world color. Even the authenticator at Tiffany marveled at the color. Nice half moon diamonds. Original Platinum hand made Tiffany & Co 1940-1950. All the stones are Gem cut as we would expect from Tiffany. They all look large for their weight as they are not excessively deep. AGTA Certified Sapphire -- 5.02ct, 11.64 x 9.07 x 5.43mm Cushion cut, mixed brilliant crown, Natural Corundum – Sapphire. Indications of simple heating at the lowest level recorded only TE. No residue or Beryllium. Official Tiffany + Co Authentication and appraisal graded and examined by the most discerning eyes on earth for a vintage Tiffany Ring Tiffany & Co. They appraise the sapphire at 5.02ct Hue Blue Tone Dark Saturation Strong. The diamonds half moon cut – one 8.02 x 4 x 2.15mm, the other 8.30 x 4.00 x 2.14mm, 1.16cts. total. Color G-H, Clarity VS1 – VS2. Near perfect condition ring. Stamped Tiffany + Co Plat 950. No repairs or defects. 10.6 grams. Size7 1/2 and sizable. 15/32 x 11/16 inch.
